Calgary Adopt a Parrot is NOT a club, organization, group or charity.

Calgary Adopt a Parrot is NOT a rescue facility but rather a adoption of previously well cared for and loved Parrots / birds.

Calgary Adopt a Parrot does NOT house, hold, foster or warehouse birds in the adoption program.

Calgary Adopt a Parrot does NOT sell parrots / birds.

Calgary Adopt a Parrot will assist in placement according to current parrot / bird owners wishes.

Calgary Adopt a Parrot has conditions and a contract in place for parrot / bird adoptions.

Calgary Adopt a Parrot will not return messages not accompanied by first /last name and phone number.

Please note: Calgary Adopt a Parrot is NOT a non profit organization, adoption prescreen is a free service offered by Calgary's Very Own Bird Lady. Parrots offered in this program are considered adoptions and not rescues. Parrots / Birds suffering trauma, neglect, abuse will be referred to a reputable avian rescue facility. Telephone correspondence will be by appointment only and on a need to be basis only.
